Stan Lee Visits The Set Of Avengers: Infinity War

Avengers: Infinity War is closing in on its wrap date, so it is a good thing Stan Lee already got to visit the film's set. If the comic icon had waited a couple more weeks or so, there may have been nothing for him to see!

Over on Instagram, Robert Downey Jr. just posted a new set photo from the set of Avengers: Infinity War that features Stan Lee in all his sweater vest glory. The image shows the comic writer standing across from several of the MCU's heaviest hitters. Robert Downey Jr. is shown dress down as Tony Stark while Tom Holland stands off to the side. The younger actor is seen wearing a parka, but Holland's motion-capture tights can be seen sticking from under the coat.

Aside from directors Joe and Anthony Russo, another familiar MCU face can be seen. Benedict Cumberbatch is shown in full costume as Doctor Strange, cape and all. The actor's profile is mostly seen in shadow, but there is enough light to make out the smear of blood strewn across Strange's cheek.

"I owe it all to you," Downey Jr. captioned the photo on Instagram. The actor also used the hashtags "thank you" and "laugh like no one is watching."

There is no telling when this photo was taken, but fans are glad to see Lee enjoying his time on the set of Avengers: Infinity War. Given the scale of the set's green screens, fans are thinking the shot took place at one of the film's stateside filming locations. Avengers: Infinity War began filming earlier this year in Atlanta before moving abroad. Most recently, the blockbuster did some filming in Queens to highlight Spider-Man's home-turf, and Tom Holland confirmed he was on set while the film was up in New York.
