'Thor: Ragnarok' Poster Promises "The Biggest Fight In The Universe"

Get hyped for Thor: Ragnarok's main event with the newest poster.

Marvel's Australia and New Zealand marketing team is selling the film's fight between Thor (Chris Hemsworth) and Hulk (Mark Ruffalo) with a boxing match-style poster. In this case, the Marvel Cinematic Universe's God of Thunder adorns the new poster, which you can check it out below.

The fight between Thor and Hulk is shaping up to be a significant element of Ragnarok's plot, with it taking center stage in the film's very first trailer and plenty of previous posters. Surprisingly, the match was a significant factor of Ragnarok's development, according to executive producer Brad Winderbaum.

"In the earliest development of Thor, we were looking at 'Planet Hulk' as inspiration." Winderbaum told ComicBook.com during a Ragnarok set visit. "Maybe not even to integrate the Hulk into the franchise, but the idea of a planet where there are gladiatorial games as being Thor's predicament. It really was a cool idea to us."

Even then, there is a bit of irony in the poster billing the event "the biggest fight in the universe." It's safe to say that both Thor and Hulk will experience a much more significant battle after the events of Ragnarok.
