'Thor: Ragnarok' UK Release Date Pushed Up

Marvel fans in the United Kingdom have had their wait for Thor: Ragnarok cut down just a bit.

Disney has moved the UK release date of Thor: Ragnarok up three days, from Friday, October 27th to Tuesday, October 24th.

That means that fans in the UK will now get to see Thor take on the Hulk a full 10 days earlier than their American counterparts, who will still have to wait until November 3rd to see the film in theaters. That means there will be a 10-day window where American fans will be at the mercy of fans in the United Kingdom when it comes to spoilers.

Marvel's Thor: Ragnarok is currently the most buzzed about movie on social media. Yesterday, to commemorate what would have been the 100th birthday of Jack Kirby, the co-creator of Marvel's Thor, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige Tweeted about how Thor: Ragnarok is a "love letter" to Kirby's vision and accompanied the tweet with a new logo for the film.
