Marvel Comics has provided ComicBook.com with an exclusive first look at three upcoming ResurrXion-themed variant covers.

The ResurrXion variant covers look to invert the theme of the Death of X variants, which saw mutants meeting their grisly ends. The ResurrXion variants feature top artist drawing X-Men and Inhumans character in powerful poses.

The gallery below features three such variants for the X-Men. David Marquez draws Kitty Pryde, the new leader of the X-Men, on the cover of Captain America: Steve Rogers #15. Francesco Mattina draws Angel, the time-displaced original X-Man, on the cover of The Unbelievable Gwenpool #16. Leinil Yu draws a Jean Grey with the Phoenix flare, a big theme of her upcoming solo series, on the cover of Invincible Iron Man #6. See all three variant covers in the gallery below.

ResurrXion is the relaunch of Marvel Comics X-Men and Inhumans lines of books following the events of the Inhumans vs. X-Men. The events of IvX left both factions changed. The Inhumans sacrificed their ability to undergo Terrigenesis to save the mutant race. Now the Inhumans social order is in upheaval while they search for a new way forward, while mutants are welcoming a brand new day.

The Inhumans' ResurrXion features three new titles. Their ResurrXion will launch Royals into outer space, Black Bolt's first ever solo series, and a new version of the Secret Warriors.

For the X-Men, ResurrXion will begin with X-Men: Gold, X-Men: Blue, Weapon X, Generation X, Iceman, Cable and Jean Grey. All-New Wolverine will join ResurrXion with a brand new story arc and a new costume for Wolverine. Old Man Logan's ResurrXion comes in the form of a new creative team. The X-Men's ResurrXion will continue in July with Charles Soule's Astonishing X-Men series.

ResurrXion kicks off in Inhumans Prime #1 and X-Men Prime #1, one-shots that serve to introduce new and returning readers to the ResurrXion status quo.

The X-Men's ResurrXion begins in X-Men Prime #1. The issue goes on sale in comic book stores and via digital comics services on March 29, 2017.
