Fan Creates Amazing Custom Yondu As Mary Poppins Funko Pop

During the climactic battle, after the Guardians of the Galaxy take out the the Sovereign's remaining fleet with lasers, the ship with Nebula, Yondu, and Peter still aboard explodes. Gamora is glad to see that her sister made it out fine. As the seconds tick by with no sign of Yondu and Peter, Gamora begins to assume the worse. Just at that moment, both emerge from the cloud of smoke. And as they make a gentle descent -- Peter with his jetpack and Yondu with his whistle-controlled arrow -- Peter looks up at his surrogate father and has a chuckle. Yondu asks why he's laughing and Peter tells him, "You look like Mary Poppins."

Yondu inquires, "Is he cool?"

Pausing for a moment, Peter sincerely replies, "Hell yah, he's cool."

Pleased to hear it, Yondu excitedly shouts: "I'm Mary Poppins y'all!"

That moment, that line has become an instant classic with fans of the film. And because of that, fan-art of Yondu as Mary Poppins has been popping up and fans have started a petition to get Michael Rooker -- the actor who plays Yondu -- an appearance in the upcoming Mary Poppins sequel.

Additionally, people have been requesting Funkoboss to make a custom Funko Pop! figure of Yondu as the magical and enchanting English nanny. So she did!
