Batman: Bad Blood Introduces Surprise Character Into DC Animation Continuity

Batman: Bad Blood has its world premiere tonight and DVD/Blu-ray release on February 2, 2016, but fans anxious to check out the film as early as possible can watch it now on Digital HD, where it debuted earlier today. Slight Spoilers ahead.
The film is about Batman disappearing and the Bat-family, including Nightwing, Robin, Batwoman, and newcomer Batwing, trying to pick up the pieces. Well, at the end of the movie, there's a wordless cameo by another newcomer, introducing her into this new animated continuity of DC Comics-based properties.
Yes, that's Batgirl, and she's in her very modern "Batgirl of Burnside" costume. The redesign came from Babs Tar and Cameron Stewart last year, and caught on quickly, inspiring other modern and more realistic takes on superhero costumes, especially for female characters.
While she didn't have any lines - she literally just steps up and swings off after the other members of the Bat-family, it's cool to see her included, especially in her modern design. These sorts of cameos usually lead directly into another movie in the next year or two, so don't be surprised when you hear more about Batgirl of Burnside at DC Animation very soon.
