The Motion Picture Association of America has delivered a rating for Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice, and the film is rated PG-13, according to Box Office Mojo. the film earned its PG-13 rating for "intense sequences of violence and action throughout, and some sensuality."

The implication here is that there is a cut of the film that the filmmakers are satisfied by, since changes to the film after ratings would require it to go back for further review. Still, with six months to go before the movie is in theaters, it isn't outside of the realm of possibility that there could be changes made.

Fearing the actions of a god-like Super Hero left unchecked, Gotham City's own formidable, forceful vigilante takes on Metropolis's most revered, modern-day savior, while the world wrestles with what sort of hero it really needs. And with Batman and Superman at war with one another, a new threat quickly arises, putting mankind in greater danger than it's ever known before.

Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice is directed by Zack Snyder and stars Henry Cavill as Superman, Ben Affleck as Batman, and Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman. Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is scheduled to be released in movie theaters on March 25, 2016.
