We're just over a month away from the day Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice hits theaters -- and just over a week away from February 29, the day typically recognized as Superman's birthday.
The Man of Steel's birthday is officially February 29, falling on Leap Day as kind of a wink and a nod to the fact that Superman never seems to age. This year, it falls one week from Monday, and will be the day tickets go on sale for Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice in the U.S., Heroic Hollywood reports.
A fan reached out to them to share a photo of signage at their local theater saying Batman V Superman tickets will go on sale February 29 at 5 p.m The tweet came from Texas, so it would appear to be 6 p.m. ET.
ComicBook.com has reached out to representatives for Warner Bros. and Fandango to see if either can confirm the information. We will update the story when and if we hear back.
Fearing the actions of a god-like Super Hero left unchecked, Gotham City's own formidable, forceful vigilante takes on Metropolis's most revered, modern-day savior, while the world wrestles with what sort of hero it really needs. And with Batman and Superman at war with one another, a new threat quickly arises, putting mankind in greater danger than it's ever known before.
