Captain America: Civil War's Robert Downey Jr. And Chris Evans To Appear On Jimmy Kimmel Live

Tonight's episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live will be a special Marvel event, featuring the stars of Marvel Studios' next blockbuster, Captain America: Civil War.

Civil War stars Chris Evans and Robert Downey Jr. will both be guests on the show, but will they be bringing a trailer with them?

It's possible, but not necessarily likely. Disney tends to heavily promote any instance of one of their major film franchises showing footage on their network, and we can't see why they'd change their tactics now, and sacrifice a possible ratings bump for Kimmel in this instance. Plus, there are those rumors that the Civil War trailer will debut in front of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, because apparently there isn't enough hype around that movie already.

What's more likely is that we'll get an official announcement of when fans can expect to see the Civil War trailer, possibly accompanied by a short tease containing 10-30 seconds of footage. We could be wrong, and Marvel could surprise us all with a full trailer drop, but this seems the more logical and likely route to take.

Krysten Ritter, a.k.a. Jessica Jones from that new Marvel Netflix series that you're probably too busy binge-watching to read this sentence, will also be a guest for Kimmel's special Marvel evening.

Jimmy Kimmel Live airs at 11:35 p.m. Et on ABC.
