Carrie Fisher And Ellen Sell Star Wars Tickets On The Street

Tickets for the opening night of The Force Awakens are the hottest tickets in town and some lucky Star Wars fans got their hands on them thanks to Carrie Fisher and Ellen DeGeneres.
DeGeneres and Fisher stood on a Los Angeles street corner wearing Princess Leia double-bun earmuffs and holding signs advertising that they were selling Star Wars tickets. For those drivers that saw the signs, or recognized the celebrity pair, they pulled over and were asked to purchase tickets for charity. Ellen later admitted that she didn't have a particular charity in mind, however, Fisher had some fun coming up with ridiculously fictitious ones.
Check it out in the video below.
In this continuation of the Star Wars saga, balance returns to the Force as the First Order, emerging from the ashes of the Empire, clashes with the Resistance, which includes scrappy newcomers as well as heroes from the former Rebel Alliance.
Star Wars: The Force Awakens opens in U.S. theaters on December 18.
