Crimson Peak Trailer Released Online

The first trailer for Guillermo del Toro's Crimson Peak has been released online.

In Crimson Peak, in the aftermath of a family tragedy, an aspiring author is torn between love for her childhood friend and the temptation of a mysterious outsider. Trying to escape the ghosts of her past, she is swept away to a house that breathes, bleeds…and remembers.

Directed by Del Toro, from a screenplay he co-wrote with Matthew Robbins, Crimson Peak stars Charlie Hunnam, Jessica Chastain, Tom Hiddleston, and Mia Wasikowska.

Crimson Peak opens in theaters October 16.
