Deadpool Celebrates Year Of The Monkey & New International TV Spot

20th Century Fox is determined to make sure their upcoming superhero film does well overseas. Part of their marketing strategy is having Deadpool (Ryan Reynolds) sending out special messages to international fans, like Russia and Australia.
This time the Merc with a Mouth offered a funny and friendly greeting to people around the world that our celebrating the Year of the Monkey, which is based on the Chinese calendar. Plus, Fox put out another action-packed TV spot.

Based upon Marvel Comics' most unconventional anti-hero, DEADPOOL tells the origin story of former Special Forces operative turned mercenary Wade Wilson, who after being subjected to a rogue experiment that leaves him with accelerated healing powers, adopts the alter ego Deadpool. Armed with his new abilities and a dark, twisted sense of humor, Deadpool hunts down the man who nearly destroyed his life.
Deadpool hits theaters on Feb. 12, 2016.
