Director Peyton Reed Spoils The Ending Of Ant-Man?
05/12/2015 12:09 am EDT
Earlier today, Ant-Man director Peyton Reed took to Twitter and in a surprising move announced that he was going to spoil the ending of his upcoming Marvel movie.
Reed wrote, "In a major act of self-sabotage, I have decided to spoil the ending of ANT-MAN. Here it is, in two parts."
In a series of two tweets, Reed posted two pages from a comic called Fred Hembeck Destroys the Marvel Universe #1, apparently revealing the source of inspiration for his film. The first page reveals two characters that were not previously known to be appearing in the film: Crackers, Crown Prince of Death and Water Wizard.
The second page is even more spoiler-filled, revealing that Ant-Man will meet his untimely end in a most gruesome way. The page also suggests some type of Ant-Man tie-in to the upcoming Thor 3: Ragnarok. Perhaps, some type of after-the-credits scene.
Ant-Man is scheduled to open in theaters on July 17, 2015.
