Guillermo del Toro's horizon is looking bright. The writer/director recently confirmed Pacific Rim 2 is still in the works, he's working on a Fantastic Voyage remake, and he's got a personal project which he's keeping under wraps for now.
Now, del Toro may have found another project. A new report from Deadline suggests that the director will be moving on to develop and possibly direct a big screen adaptation of the Scary Stories To Tell In The Dark novel trilogy. He'll be producing with Sean Daniel (The Mummy), Jason Brown (The Expanse), and Elizabeth Grave.
Alvin Schwartz's Scary Stories To Tell In The Dark novels have sold more than 7 million copies worldwide. Del Toro is such a big fan, he has ten illustrations by the novel's artist, Stephen Gammell.
