Jurassic World Beats Avengers As Third Highest-Grossing Movie Ever

Jurassic World has officially become the the third highest-grossing movie of all-time, effectively devouring The Avengers' last Box Office crown.
Earning $1.522 billion at the global box-office, Jurassic World knocks Marvel's 2012's The Avengers film down as the fourth-highest grossing film, at $1.520 billion. The sequel to Steven Spielberg's classic Jurassic Park has devoured The Avngers' box office accolades since opening in June, taking the crown for biggest opening weekend and several other benchmarks.
We expect another congratulatory Tweet to Universal Studios from Marvel's Kevin Feige to come any day now.
