Kindergarten Cop 2 First Official Photos Released

The first photos official photos from Kindergarten Cop 2 have been released in honor of the original film's 25th birthday today, December 21.

Kindergarten Cop, released in 1990, showcased Arnold Schwarzenegger's comedic side, going against his typical action-hero role. In 2016, the sequel will do the same for Dolph Lundgren, who co-stars with Shwarzenegger in The Expendables movies.

In Kingergarten Cop 2, Lundgren will play Agent Reed. His character will have to go undercover as a kindergarten teacher in order to recover a flash drive with sensitive information on it which was stolen from the Witness Protection Program. Not only will Agent Reed have to deal with the young students of his new kindergarten, but also the building's politically correct environment.

"Kindergarten Cop grossed over $200 million worldwide and has been entertaining audiences of all ages," said Glenn Ross, General Manager and Executive Vice President, Universal 1440 Entertainment. "In this exciting reboot, we introduce a unique blend of humor and action to the next generation of viewers, as well as share a reimagined version of the story with longtime fans who have made this an enduring family favorite."
