Mad Max Fan Builds His Own Interceptor

Plenty of fans have gone to a movie at a young age and dreamed of bringing home a piece of it. Well, one Mad Max fan finally fulfilled that dream by recreating the original Interceptor from George Miller's classic movie.
It cost him several years and $125,000, but Dale Walter now owns a replica of the car that captured his heart when he saw it on film for the first time as a child. Walter started with an Australian Ford Falcon, and had it transformed over five years into Max's iconic ride.
Max and his interceptor can be seen in Mad Max: Fury Road, the latest installment of Miller's post-apocalyptic action franchise.
