In precisely four months from today, Avengers: Age of Ultron hits theaters nationwide.
The excitement for the highly anticipated Marvel sequel just increased with the airing of an ad for the premiere of the next Age of Ultron trailer.
The next trailer is scheduled to premiere Monday, January 12 during the College Football National Championship game on ESPN, at 8:30 p.m. EST. The trailer is expected to be available online shortly thereafter.
With S.H.I.E.L.D. destroyed and the Avengers needing a hiatus from stopping threats, Tony Stark attempts to jumpstart a dormant peacekeeping program with Ultron, a self-aware, self-teaching, artificial intelligence.
However, Stark's plan backfires when Ultron decides that humans are the primary threat and sets out to eradicate them from Earth, and it is up to Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, the Hulk, Black Widow and Hawkeye, along with support from Nick Fury and Maria Hill, to stop him from enacting his plans. Along the way, the Avengers encounter the powerful twins, Pietro and Wanda Maximoff, as well as the familiar Vision.
Avengers: Age of Ultron opens in theaters May 1, 2015.
