New X-Men: Apocalypse Poster Released
12/11/2015 03:30 pm EST
Hot on the heels of the Friday morning release of the first full trailer for X-Men: Apocalypse, director Bryan Singer decided the afternoon crowd needed something, too. He placed a new poster on his Instagram account, along with a tease.
"'... from the ashes of their world we'll build a better one.' Check out this exclusive #Apocalypse poster," he said. He also mentioned he'll be answering questions live on twitter at 12:30 PT, 3:30 ET (a few minutes from press time).
The poster features the tagline "Only the Strong Will Survive," which has long been Apocalypse's credo in the pages of Marvel Comics. His desire is to make a world full of mutants who have evolved to their highest potential, ruling over any and everyone else. He holds a skull in a Shakespearean pose, but the fact that he's crushing it in his hand clearly shows no longing here.
