Ok, now the Age of Apocalypse has officially commenced.

X-Men: Age of Apocalypse director Bryan Singer officially announced today that the film's titular villain is finally getting behind a camera. Which is good, as Age of Blank wouldn't make for a very good movie title. Apocalypse, played by actor Oscar Isaac, will be the center of the on-screen X-Men's latest conflict.

In the actual announcement, Singer posted a photo of Isaac's (or Apocalypse's) chair on-set. While Singer has filmed Age of Apocalypse for a while now, his previous teases only revealed that he was filming scenes with Marvel's heroic mutants.
