Star Trek star William Shatner is going to raise awareness for the American Legion by traveling across the country on a three-wheeled motorcycle.
American Wrench built Shatner a first-of-its-kind Rivet motorcycle to take him on his bold, 8-day journey. It'll begin on June 23rd at merican Wrench shop just outside of Chicago. Shatner will spend a majority of his time on Route 66 stopping off in St. Louis, Kansas City, Oklahoma City, Amarillo, Albuquerque, Flagstaff and Las Vegas. The event will conclude with one final stop in Los Angeles on June 30th.
"I am taking another step into the unknown!" Shatner said. "A phenomenal bike made by American Wrench and a 2,400 mile journey, where the road holds the big mystery."
The custom bike was designed by American Wrench owner/designer Kevin Sirotek.
If you can't be a part of the event, don't worry, it is being filmed for an upcoming television show. We'll update you once we know when it'll air.
