A New Years Eve match-up between the Perth Scorchers and the Sydney Sixers cricket clubs saw the teams outfitted in Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice gear.
The event was sponsored by Warner Bros. and gave fans an opportunity to win a trip for their family to Warner Bros. Movie World on Australia's Gold Coast.
You can read more about it at the Scorchers' website. They also handed out capes to children in attendance and had exclusive Perth/Batman merch available inside the stadium. You can also preorder Sixers-Superman jerseys on their site.
Fearing the actions of a god-like Super Hero left unchecked, Gotham City's own formidable, forceful vigilante takes on Metropolis's most revered, modern-day savior, while the world wrestles with what sort of hero it really needs. And with Batman and Superman at war with one another, a new threat quickly arises, putting mankind in greater danger than it's ever known before.
Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice hits theaters March 25, 2016.
