Vin Diesel Reveals xXx Sequel Title
10/01/2015 02:00 pm EDT
A few minutes ago, I found myself rereading Vin Diesel's Facebook post about his mom telling him to direct Fast & Furious 8 and when I read the post all the way through, I noticed a sly drop of the title of the long-awaited xXx sequel.
According the end of Diesel's recent post, the xXx sequel he is returning to after handing it over to Ice Cube for State of the Union, will be Xander Returns.
Let's just hope it can explain this:
No release date for Xander Returns has been set yet. Vin Diesel has The Last Witch Hunter coming out October 23, followed by Billy Lynn's Long Halftime Walk in November of 2016, and then Fast & Furious 8 and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 in 2017. Diesel's post says Xander Returns goes into production after the Witch Hunter press tour, so it could possibly arrive as early as late 2016.
Whenever it gets here, we'll all just be glad Xander and Diesel are returning to the franchise.
