X-Men Apocalypse: Bryan Singer Reveals Apocalypse's Possible Tomb
07/27/2015 01:53 pm EDT
Bryan Singer is going deep into the pyramids for X-Men: Apocalypse.
The venerable X-Men movie director released a new photo from the upcoming film's massive set, revealing a mysterious Egyptian tomb. While Singer gave no further info for the photo, it's safe to assume that the tomb belongs to the film's titular villain: Apocalypse. As Marvel history's first mutant, Apocalypse's origins date back to ancient Egypt, and recent reports on the film revealed that the movie would feature a scene where the blue mutant would wake from his tomb. So, unless Professor X is opening up a satellite campus in Egypt, we're betting this is Apocalypse's place.
Could Singer's location be Apocalypse's one and only resting place? Hopefully, we'll find out soon. But what do you think of the Egyptian set? Let us know in the comments!
X-Men: Apocalypse opens on May 27, 2016. And for the rundown on Fox Studio's other X-Universe movies, like Deadpool, head to ComicBook.com's comic book movie database.
