Zootopia's Nick Wilde and Judy Hopps Head to Disney Parks

Zootopia doesn't hit theaters until the end of the week, but the main characters, Nick Wilde (voiced by Jason Bateman in the film) and Judy Hopps (Ginnifer Goodwin) already have their next gig. The pair will soon be appearing as characters at Disney Parks this Spring, Disney Parks and Resorts announced Wednesday.
At Disneyland, they'll be on Hollywood Boulevard at Disney California Adventure. They'll also appear at Walt Disney World in Magic Kingdom, including roles in the "Move it! Shake it! Dance & Play it!" street party.
This is a great show of faith by Disney, and always an indication that they believe they have a major hit on their hands. The fact they're announcing the characters (and have the costumes, seen above, all set to go) ahead of release means the film's screenings have tested very well.
Zootopia sees a world where animals live together in bipedal harmony, but still retain their wild natural personalities. That is until Judy Hopps decides she can be just as good a police officer as any Rhino or Elephant out there, and the enthusiastic bunny finds herself in the middle of the biggest case Zootopia has seen. Teaming up reluctantly with sly con-artist Nick Wilde the fox, they have to work together to crack the case with surprises along the way.
Zootopia, from Walt Disney Animation Studios, hits theaters Friday, March 4, 2016.
