Overwatch Gets A Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Intro Makeover

In the pantheon of iconic theme songs, few bring back immediate nostalgia like the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers intro. So, what's that look like when paired with one of gaming's most addictive games?

Well, YouTube user Ryden Cyborg decided to find out, and the results are pretty marvelous. Taking footage from Blizzard's goliath team based shooter Overwatch, he then overlayed the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers them over top of it. That is only part of it though, as fans know the cast titles also are a big part of the nostalgia effect, and Ryden Cyborg replicated those as well.

In order of appearance the intro sequence stars Fred Tatasciore as Soldier 76, Cara Theobold as Tracer, Gaku Space as Genji, Chris Metzen as Bastion, and Crispin Freeman as Winston star as the core five Rangers, with supporting roles given to Darin De Paul (Reinheart), Lucie Pohl (Mercy), and Charlet Chung as D.Va.

Who needs Dinozords when you've got super intelligent gorillas, deadly ninjas, and mechs right?

As for Overwatch, fans can expect several changes to a few of the game's characters in an upcoming patch if testing goes as planned. Characters like Junkrat, Orisa, Roadhog, and more are in the testing phase for buffs and tweaked abilities, and there will be of course more bug fixes there as well.
