Power Rangers: Jason David Frank Sends Sweet Message To Young Fan Cutting Her Hair For Cancer Survivors

Sometimes the smallest people have the biggest hearts. That is certainly true of Helena Marshall, who managed to get the approval of the Green Ranger.

Helena Marshall is nine years old, but her young age hasn't stopped her from helping people. Helena is cutting her hair off in October so it can be sent to the Little Princess Trust, which gives kids around the UK and Ireland real hair wigs to replace the hair they've lost, typically due to illnesses like Cancer.

Helena is also a big Power Rangers fan, and her efforts caught the attention of Jason David Frank, the original Green Ranger, who decided to send her a special message.

"I heard you're doing something very special for kids. I'm very proud that you've cut your hair and donating it to kids who need hair. It just honestly touches my heart, and you're such an amazing little girl," original Green Ranger Jason David Frank told Devon Live. "You keep being you and just know that the Green Ranger loves you, and everyone around the world loves you, but, more importantly, God sees what you're doing, and you are really blessing people around the world, and for that Helena you will be blessed your whole entire life. So just keep giving, giving, and giving, and follow your heart. I'm so proud of you."

Helena is raising funds in addition to giving her own hair for a specific reason. When the organization can't find a real hair wig to match the recipient, they will buy a suitable wig that can cost a pretty penny.

"It all started when she was watching videos on You Tube and came across a girl who was donating her hair to children who lost theirs through chemotherapy," Helena's mother Olivera Marshall revealed. "'I've seen a video showing children who don't have any hair and I would like to help. I've got long hair so I can give some to them to help them feel better as mine will grow back. My husband and I were so touched and very proud of her for being so selfless."

The haircut will take place at Helena's school on October 3rd, and those who donate will also have a chance to take home a painting from local artist Emma Carter Bromfield. In addition to Bromfield and Frank, Helena is also being supported by Power Rangers Dino Charge star Brennan Mejia, and you can find out more about her campaign here.
