'Star Trek: Discovery: "Si Vis Pacem, Para Bellum" Photos Released

CBS has released seven new photos from this week's episode of Star Trek: Discovery, titled "Si Vis Pacem, Para Bellum."
The title of the episode is Latin for "If you want peace, prepare for war," which one might say is Captain Lorca's entire Starfleet service philosophy.
"Si Vis Pacem, Para Bellum" sees the USS Discovery sent on a high priority mission to planet Pahvo for Starfleet. Fans of classic Star Trek story structure should be heartened by the episode since it seems to be the first episode to include an away mission and the discovery of new life on an alien planet.
Check out the photos in the attached gallery.
The episode teaser also showed that it will continue the story of Vice Admiral Katrina Cornwell after she was captured by Kol and the Klingon Empire. Perhaps the episode will even further illuminate the theory that Admiral Cornwell may be Lethe, a character from the Star Trek: The Original Series episode "Dagger of the Mind."
"Si Vis Pacem, Para Bellum" is the eight episode of Star Trek: Discovery, and the penultimate episode of the series's first chapter. Star Trek: Discovery has already been renewed for a second season by CBS All Access.
New Star Trek: Discovery episodes become available to stream Sundays at 8:30 p.m. ET on CBS All Access.
