Star Trek: Lower Decks Blu-ray Trailer Released

Star Trek: Lower Decks is coming to Blu-ray, and CBS Home Entertainment and Paramount Home Entertainment have released a trailer offering a peek at the special features included with the discs. Star Trek: Lower Decks Season One comes home as both a standard release and limited edition steelbook on May 18th. The release includes hours of exclusive special features, including the "Lower Decktionary," which spotlights the show's music, art design, animation process, and more. Other special features include interviews with the show's voice cast, deleted and extended scenes, and a look at the show's many Star Trek Easter eggs. The second season of Star Trek: Lower Decks in production for Paramount+, and this home release could bring the show to new audiences and offer fans a great way to revisit the debut season.

Star Trek: Lower Decks is the first animated Star Trek series in more than 50 years and the franchise's first foray into animated comedy. Emmy Award-winning creator Mike McMahan (Rick and Morty, Solar Opposites) and executive producer by Alex Kurtzman (Star Trek: Discovery, Star Trek: Picard) developed Lower decks. The show follows the support crew serving on one of Starfleet's least significant ships, the USS Cerritos, in 2380.

The Blu-ray, DVD, and limited edition steelbook offer fans all 10 episodes from the debut season and almost two hours of exclusive special features. Here are the details:
