Earlier this morning, Carrie Fisher passed away at age 60 after suffering a massive heart attack shortly before the holidays. The actress' passing was confirmed by a statement from her daughter Billie Lourd, and the world has responded with touching memorials. Star Wars alums have also taken time to honor Fisher's legacy, and fans are now beginning to wonder how the tragic death will impact Lucasfilm's on-going trilogy.

Director Rian Johnson took over the account to show fans the film's final slate before saying he "cannot wait to share" Star Wars: Episode VIII with everyone.
