EXCLUSIVE: Marvel Previews Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens Comic Adaptation

Fans can soon relive the star crossing epic that is Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens in comic form, and we've got an exclusive preview if the book for you in the gallery.

Marvel is releasing an official comic adaptation of the well-received Star Wars entry, and it will feature all of your favorite moments from the film. Those moments are being recreated by the talented Luke Ross (Hercules), and as you can see in the preview art, the artist is going above and beyond to bring the Rey, Finn, Poe, and BB-8 that fans remember to the official comic.

Chuck Wendig, author of Star Wars: Aftermath, will be penning the script, while artist Esad Ribic will be on cover duty for every issue, which you can see several versions of in the gallery.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens ended up taking in $936,662,225 million domestically, and worldwide totalled out at $2,068,178,225 billion after it concluded its theatric release. Star Wars: Episode VIII is currently filming now, and is expected to be released on December 15th, 2017.
