The Star Wars Universe expanded with last December's spinoff prequel anthology Story film detailing a motley crew of Rebels and their attempt to steal the Death Star plans from under the Empire's nose.

And when Rogue One: A Star Wars Story aired its first trailer, it was loaded with iconic imagery that made indicated fans were in for an epic exploration of moments only glossed over in the credits.

But then they cut most of those scenes out in the final picture, added some gross Darth Vader puns, and had one of the most disjointed plot structures since The Phantom Menace.

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story is out now on Blu-ray, DVD, and Digital HD.
