Rogue One: A Star Wars Story Crosses $1 Billion At Global Box Office

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story has officially crossed $1 billion at the global box office. The film's total now stands at $1.011 billion worldwide. $512 million of that comes from the domestic market, while the remaining $499 million was accrued internationally.

This marks the second consecutive Star Wars franchise film to cross that high threshold. Star Wars: The Force Awakens surpassed $2 billion worldwide after opening in 2015.

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story is written by Gareth Edwards and written by Chris Weitz and Tony Gilroy, from a story by John Knoll and Gary Whitta. The film star Felicity Jones, Diego Luna, Ben Mendelsohn, Donnie Yen, Mads Mikkelsen, Alan Tudyk, Riz Ahmed, Jiang Wen and Forest Whitaker.
