Carrie Fisher & Debbie Reynolds Public Memorial Date And Location Revealed

For fans of Star Wars, the loss of Carrie Fisher - and her mother Debbie Reynolds - still weighs incredibly heavy on the heart. The two women were icons in the industry, and they will forever be remembered by all the lives they touched.

For the fans who have wanted to pay their respects to Fisher and Reynolds, the opportunity will be made available later this month. While the two had private funerals back in January, the details regarding a public memorial service have now been revealed.

Todd Fisher - Carrie's brother and Debbie's son - announced the details of the service on his website this week.

The service will be held on March 25, at the Forest Lawn Hollywood Hills.

Fisher went on to let folks know why the ceremony was being held, and how you can go about attended.

"We will be celebrating their lives with friends, family members, and the people who loved them, you. The service will begin at 1:00 PM and immediately afterwards, those who want to walk to their final resting place are welcome to do so," he said in the post.

"There are a limited number of seats available, and it will be on a first come first come, first seated basis, There are no tickets, it is first come, first seated. There will be room for overflow in the huge lobby as well as the outside with screens to watch and hear the service."

While everyone won't be able to get a seat in the service, Star Wars fans across the world are still sending their thoughts and prayers to the Fisher family.
