Star Wars: New Wave of Walmart-Exclusive Rogue One Toys Revealed

With Rogue One: A Star Wars Story now only two weeks away, and the holidays hitting soon after, it's time for fans to start picking up some new gear. Walmart has gone full Force on their Star Wars exclusives, with characters pulled directly from Rogue One: A Star Wars Story and beyond this Holiday season. December brings a new wave of toys, and we have a first look at several of their newest exclusives. Official descriptions follow, with images below.

• Air Hog Star Destroyer Drone *Walmart Exclusive (Releasing Dec. 1)
  • Found exclusively at Walmart, the Air Hogs Star Wars Star Destroyer Drone is the ultimate Imperial spaceship! Take the reins and pilot the iconic Star Destroyer with the 2.4GHz remote control for 250ft range. This symbol of the Empire and its power comes complete with a highly-detailed Star Wars design, light-up LED thrusters, and gyro stabilization for smooth flights.

• Funko Chrome Death Trooper *Walmart Exclusive (Releasing Dec. 1)
  • From Rogue One, the exclusive Chrome Death Trooper, a stylized POP vinyl from Funko! figure stands 3 3/4 inches and comes in a window display box.
• 3.75-inch Black Series Action Figures *Walmart Exclusives (Releasing Dec. 1)
  • Starting Dec. 1 Walmart will offer the Scarif Storm Trooper (Rogue One) and Captain Cassian Andor (Rogue One) within their force of collector figures.
• 6-inch Black Series Figure *Walmart Exclusive (Releasing Dec. 4)
  • Walmart will exclusively offer the Black Series Scarif Storm Trooper figure. This 6-inch scale figure is carefully detailed to look like the villainous soldier from Rogue One.
• 3.75-inch Action Figures Value Pack *Walmart Exclusive (Releasing Dec. 4)
  • Three for the price of two, this bundle includes Captain Cassian Andor, Jyn Erso, and K-2S0 from Rogue One and is sold exclusively at Walmart.

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story hits US theaters December 16, 2016. Directed by Gareth Edwards, it's the first of the new standalone features from Lucasfilm and Disney, which take place outside the core "Skywalker Saga" of films noted by an Episode number. Rogue Onetells the story of the small band of rebels that were tasked with stealing the plans to the first Death Star. The story spins directly off the opening crawl from the original Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope. In that crawl, it read: "Rebel spaceships, striking from a hidden base, have won their first victory against the evil Galactic Empire. During the battle, Rebel spies managed to steal secret plans to the Empire's ultimate weapon, the DEATH STAR, an armored space station with enough power to destroy an entire planet."
