Star Wars Rebels Poster Reveals Rogue One Guest Star

12/17/2016 02:03 pm EST

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story only just opened in theaters nationwide, but one character from the first Star Wars standalone movie is set to appear elsewhere in the Star Wars universe.

Here's your SPOILER WARNING.

Rebels Reactions spotted a new poster at Toys R Us teasing the upcoming second half of Star Wars Rebels season 3.

In addition to the crew of the Ghost, who themselves were referenced in passing in Rogue One, the poster prominently features Saw Gerrera, the militant freedom fighter played by Forest Whitaker in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.

The poster also features one of Gerrera's standout lines from the film, which was used in trailers and other promotional materials: "Save the Rebellion. Save the Dream."

Check out the poster in the tweet below.

As ComicBook.com suspected, and hoped, it looks like Gerrera will be coming to Star Wars Rebels on Disney XD.

Gerrera made his debut in the Star Wars universe in Star Wars: The Clone Wars. His role in Star Wars Rebels remains unclear. Mon Mothma did mention in Rogue One that Gerrera had proven too extreme for the Rebel Alliance and the two had a parting of the ways. Perhaps Saw's Star Wars Rebels arc will shed more light on that situation.

It is also unclear if Gerrera's appearance means that Star Wars Rebels will be visiting the planet of Jedha, where he was found in Rogue One. There's a good chance that the Star Wars Rebels will visit Saw before he went to Jedha, but if it episodes do take place on Jedha then that could mean appearances by temple guardians Chirrut Imwe and Baze Malbus, or even Bodhi Rook, who was originally from Jedha.

It is worth noting that Saw may not be the only connection between Rogue One and Star Wars Rebels.
