Here's How To Get Your First Look At The Last Jedi This Friday

The time is almost here! Star Wars Celebration is set to kick off in Orlando this Thursday, April 13, with what's expected to be an amazing event commemorating 40 years of stories set in A Galaxy Far, Far Away. Mark Hamill, Hayden Christensen, Rian Johnson, and more are expected to be in attendance for the panel which is sure to be filled with exciting moments.

And yet that may not even be the highlight of the weekend, as the following day will host a panel dedicated to the next film in the Saga, Star Wars: The Last Jedi!

Rumors are swirling about regarding the latest film—many are expecting a trailer to premiere at the event after waves of reports of footage having been played at events like the Disney Investors Meeting and CinemaCon.

But if you're not going to be able to go, don't get down in the space gutters because you'll still have a chance to watch the historic event! Lucasfilm will be streaming many of the panels from Celebration live on the Star Wars website and their YouTube channel! The Last Jedi spotlight panel begins at 11am EST and you won't want to miss it.

However, before you start thinking that a trailer is confirmed to premier at the event, let us remind you that last year's Celebration didn't debut the first Rogue One: A Star Wars Story trailer. That clip didn't air until the Summer Olympics began in Rio.

So temper your expectations; maybe we'll get to see a sizzle reel, which is what debuted at last year's Star Wars Celebration.

Despite all of that, it's safe to expect some form of new footage of Star Wars: The Last Jedi, which could be a behind-the-scenes feature similar to what premiered at Lucasfilm's 2015 San Diego Comic-Con panel for The Force Awakens.

So keep an eye on the Star Wars livestream, and be sure to check back with us here at ComicBook.com. Our own Patrick Cavanaugh will be on hand to document the event and bring you the latest news, so you won't miss a thing!
