Darth Vader Is Negan In Epic The Walking Dead/Star Wars Crossover Photo From Greg Nicotero

If Negan didn't have enough of the Dark Side in him already, a full on transformation to Darth Vader might do the trick.

In a new photo posted to The Walking Dead executive producer Greg Nicotero's Instagram account, Darth Vader is standing in for Negan, backed by an army of Stormtroopers, Lucille in hand, with a couple of Resistance pilots on their knees awaiting his order on who will die. In the back? AT-ST's to light the scene, of course.

It's "eeny-meeny-miny-moe, catch a pilot by the toe" in the photo below! It is drawn by artist Robert Shane.

Somehow, Darth Vader is even more menacing with a baseball bat wrapped in barbed wire than he is while holding that terrifying red lightsaber. Fans got a taste of his capabilities in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, but if he and Negan were to discuss leadership styles and battle plans, the worlds of Star Wars and The Walking Dead would be in a great bit of trouble.

According to executive producer Tom Luse, The Walking Dead will have a few similarities to Star Wars when it returns for the rest of its seventh season. "This is the Rebel Alliance fighting back against the Empire," Luse said. "We all want that coming together of all these great characters, for them to see each other and realize that they as a group are strong because of the love and respect they show to each other. They know what that means and that gives them strength as well."
