The Walking Dead: Austin Amelio Reveals Dwight's True Feelings About Sherry

WARNING: Major spoilers ahead for The Walking Dead's latest episode of season seven, 'Hostiles And Calamities'.

There are plenty of complicated relationships on The Walking Dead, but the one between Sherry and Dwight has to take the cake. The two were married before the world turned, but Negan got in the way.

After the two tried to run away from the Sanctuary, Negan decided to forgive them - as long as he could burn Dwight's face and take Sherry as one of his wives.

Since then, Dwight has had trouble dealing with Sherry. He can't look at her the same way, and he definitely isn't okay with her arrangement.

It's hard to tell exactly how either one of them feels about the other, but Sherry's feelings were revealed i the form of a letter she left, after she ran away. What we don't know, however, is how Dwight feels about everything.

While talking to ComicBook.com's Walking Dead Insider Brandon Davis, Austin Amelio - who plays Dwight - revealed exactly how Dwight feels about Sherry. He says that discovering that empty house was extremely tough on him.

"It's devastating. I ride all night to go and look for her. I get there in the highest of hopes that she is going to be there. She's not, and then I get a letter, which tells me she doesn't quite know who I am anymore. She's got all these different point of views on me, which is crushing. It's the love of my life and pretty much the only thing I'm holding onto. It's a devastating moment for him. "

Could Dwight's continued love for Sherry end up leading to his downfall?
