Fear The Walking Dead: Passage Part 9 Released Online

02/08/2017 06:08 pm EST

The Walking Dead isn't the only show returning to AMC this Sunday, as the mini-episode series Fear The Walking Dead: Passage is also set to air it's midseason premiere.

The series is made up of minute-long episodes that air during one of The Walking Dead's commercial breaks, and follows the survival tale of two women in the zombie apocalypse.

Ahead of Sunday's episode, AMC has released the newest part of the Passage story on its website. You can watch the full clip by visiting the site, and you can check out the recap below.

When Part Eight ended in December, fans were left with a bit of a cliffhanger. As Sierra was trying to warn Gabi about the violent tendencies of Colton, she tried to lead her through the tunnel into Mexico. Just as Sierra turned the first corner, she tripped over a wire and an explosion was heard.

The new episode picks up exactly where the last left off, and the women have ringing ears from the explosion. As the dust begins to settle, you realize Sierra isn't hurt - as many expected.

Most of the minute-long episode was spent watching Gabi and Sierra get their bearings again. Once everything calmed down, the big plot twist set in.

Colton suddenly appears, and proceeds to grab Gabi. If you remember the last episode, Sierra shot Colton after finding out that he was lying to them both. It was a huge surprise to see the guy recover so quickly.

Be sure to tune in to The Walking Dead this Sunday to see Passage air live, and check back in next week for the release of part ten.
