Fear The Walking Dead: Who Dies In Burning in Water, Drowning in Flame?

Fear the Walking Dead Season 3 is proving to be one of the deadliest of the entire series. Four episodes into the new batch and a main character has bowed out and people are being thrown off of dams.

Now, with some of the group reluctantly residing at Broke Jaw Ranch, Victor Strand and Daniel Salazar forming an unlikely team on the outskirts, and Ofelia still missing, the fate of each character is considerably unpredictable. Not to mention, the leaders and occupants of Broke Jaw Ranch are not the most transparent group as newcomers Troy, Jake, and Jeremiah Otto might be hiding something.

Who is in the most danger in Fear the Walking Dead Episode 3x05, Burning in Water, Drowning in Flame?

Madison- Safe. Madison has grown to accept relationships with new people and quickly adapt to changing and dangerous situations. Setting out on a mission with Troy Otto, Madison will likely only continue to build on her role as a leader.

Alicia- Safe. Alicia has accepted that Broke Jaw Ranch is the best option for her family. Topping that, he survival skills have evolved with the necessity.

Nick- Safe. Nick is accepting his place at Broke Jaw Ranch and has formed some sort of pact with his only enemy Troy. He is one of the smartest and bravest people in the community, likely more experienced with threats outside the walls than most inside, and will continue to do whatever it takes to protect himself, Luciana, and his family.

Strand- Danger. Having lied to Daniel about Ofelia's location, arriving at an empty hotel will prove costly.

Luciana- Danger. Luciana won't just accept that Broke Jaw Ranch is actually a safe haven. Having recovered from her wound, she might make an irrational decision if Nick wants to stay put.

Ofelia- Danger. Ofelia's fate is completely ambiguous after being taken by Jeremiah Otto in the Season 2 finale. Given she has not been seen at the Ranch yet, there is extra reason to worry.

Jeremiah Otto- Safe. The leader of Broke Jaw Ranch has plenty of people who are grateful for his protection and sanctuary. He's not going anywhere (yet).

Troy Otto- Safe. The people like Troy are the ones who survive in these apocalyptic scenarios. If he can hold off on attacking the good guys for some amount of time, Troy's heart will continue to beat.

Jake Otto- Danger. Serving as the moral compass of a series never ends well, because it always ends. His brother keeps him at risk, as well.

Daniel Salazar- Safe. Daniel is the most hardened and willing to do what is necessary. Driven by the desire to find his daughter, Daniel will continue to survive this new world.
