Fear The Walking Dead: Who Dies In Red Dirt

With a new episode of Fear the Walking Dead comes new threats of death and loss for each of the core characters. The stakes have never been higher at Broke Jaw Ranch.

As Madison continues to emerge as a leader within the community, the community and its other leading figures turn to her in times of crisis. As she and the militia continue their walk back to the community having handed over their boots and shoes to Walker and his menacing group which wishes to lay claim to the Ranch, the worst is yet to come.

Madison's family, however, might be in the least amount of danger. Aside from Alicia's developing relationship with Jake Otto, the Clark family has little connection to Broke Jaw Ranch and would abandon or sacrifice it if necessary to survive. Other characters might not be so smart.

Who is in danger and who is safe for Fear the Walking Dead Episode 3x06, Red Dirt?

Madison- Safe. Madison has grown to accept relationships with new people and quickly adapt to changing and dangerous situations. Returning from her mission with Troy, Madison is now aware of the threats looming on the outskirts of Broke Jaw Ranch with her skills as a guidance counselor coming in handy for the people who are scared.

Alicia- Safe. Alicia has accepted that Broke Jaw Ranch is the best option for her family and has Jake more than willing to protect her, should she need it. It's unlikely she will, though, seeing as her survival skills evolve each week.

Nick- Safe. Though Nick is more comfortable at Broke Jaw Ranch, his girlfriend Luciana recently abandoned the location, providing him with a significant inner conflict. His relationship with Jeremiah Otto will continue to grow and he will learn from the prepper.

Strand- Danger. Abandoned by Daniel at the hotel, Strand's fate is up in the air.

Luciana- Danger. Leaving Broke Jaw Ranch on her own is risky enough. Topping that off, Luciana is unaware of the threat which is Walker.

Ofelia- Danger. Ofelia's fate is completely ambiguous after being taken by Jeremiah Otto in the Season 2 finale. Given she has not been seen at the Ranch yet, there is extra reason to worry.

Jeremiah Otto- Danger. For the first time, Jeremiah is listed as in danger. The leader of Broke Jaw Ranch is a stubborn man with issues of pride which might impair his judgment when it comes to handling the situation with Walker and within his own community.

Troy Otto- Safe. The people like Troy are the ones who survive in these apocalyptic scenarios. If he can hold off on attacking the good guys for some amount of time, Troy's heart will continue to beat.

Jake Otto- Danger. Eager to go speak with Walker, Jake might not even come back to the Ranch.

Daniel Salazar- Safe. Daniel is the most hardened and willing to do what is necessary. Driven by the desire to find his daughter, Daniel will continue to survive this new world.
