With Young Justice officially getting a third season, fans of the series are hyped for more of their favorite DC Comics characters coming to animated life once again. This group has been campaigning for more Young Justice on social media for months.

One cast member from Young Justice has had a series of good luck, lately. Khary Payton, who voices Aqualad on the series, is also responsible for the voice of Cyborg on Teen Titans and, now, the live action take on Ezekiel for AMC's The Walking Dead.

Speaking to ComicBook.com after his Walking Dead debut, Payton compared playing the roles of Ezekiel and Cyborg. While they're both very different gigs, he is passionate about them both the same.

"Honestly, they're the two best jobs of my life," Payton said. "I get to play this exuberant cartoon character who also, every once in awhile, finds these incredibly real moments that ... I've talked to so many people about Cyborg that, in one circumstance or another, has really affected them and Ezekiel, I can't wait for the conversations I'm going to have with people about how his philosophy and the way he goes about things helps people through their daily lives and their own philosophy of life. A guy can't ask for much better than Cyborg and Ezekiel, as far as an actor's concerned."

As for why the actor pursued such a career, he was simply exploring a passion he developed in high school.

"I decided that I was going to be an actor when I was a senior in high school and I've been kind of pursuing it for a little bit," Payton said. "I went to college for four years, and then I did Shakespeare everywhere for about five years after that. Then I moved out to LA and did all of this voice work. I'm telling you, I've been preparing for 20 years. I've been preparing for 20 years."
