New The Walking Dead Cover Shows Key Character In Trouble

The Walking Dead's Whisperer War has yet to conclude. With one issue left, it hasn't been quite as deadly as some readers expected but number six of six might be the doozie fans are looking for.

However, looking beyond the six-issue story which has pitted Rick's groups against the massive army of Whisperers, it looks like the worst is yet to come for the good guys. Titles and synopsis such as, "Conquered," and "All is lost," spell trouble for the civilization Rick has been trying to hard to rebuild.

Furthermore, the new cover of issue #165 shows another key character in some serious trouble.

Currently missing on the AMC television series, the comic book version of Heath might be meeting his end in the March issue of The Walking Dead if the cover is accurate. Of course, the covers of Robert Kirkman's books like to throw readers off whenever they can, so the possibility of Heath's portrayed danger may turn out to mean little for the character's fate.

The title of the issue is, "Opportunity," with a synopsis reading, "When Alexandria is at its weakest…they strike."

Of course, the first thought here is that Negan's Saviors are out to get Alexandria. With Sherry appearing to rally a revolt against Alexandria, starting at the Sanctuary, it looks like Negan's people have not forgotten his hatred of Rick Grimes.

Maybe the community speaking to Eugene over the radio, claiming to be in Ohio, will turn out to be friendly and show up just in time to save the Safe-Zone and other communities from falling under the rule of the Saviors, once again.
