First Look At The Walking Dead's Steven Yeun In New 'Okja' Movie

The Walking Dead's Steven Yeun has kept very quiet since departing the AMC series in the Season 7 premiere.

The actor recently broke his silence during a panel at Walker Stalker Con in Nashville, Tennessee, discussing a variety of topics ranging from the violence of Glenn's death to the dumpster dive early in Season 6. However, now, the actor has revealed the first look at himself in character for the new movie Okja.

Yeun took to Instagram to share a photo of himself as K in Okja, a film which follows Mija, a young girl who risks everything to prevent a powerful, multi-national company from kidnapping her best friend, a massive animal named Okja. Check out the photo of Yeun below!

Okja is directed by Bong Joon Ho, best known for his previous work on Snowpiercer, and Yeun will appear alongside an impressive cast list. Joining him on screen will be Tilda Swinton, Paul Dano, Giancarlo Esposito, Jake Gyllenhaal, and, as Mija, Seo-Hyun Ahn.

Okja hits theaters on June 28.

Aside from Okja, Yeun has found work outside of The Walking Dead by lending his voice to the popular Netflix series Trollhunters and will soon be starring the adaptation of comic book series Chew.
