The Walking Dead: Is Daryl In Love With Carol

The Walking Dead may be about the zombie apocalypse tearing apart civilization as we know it, but it's really good at building up relationships too.

The Rick and Michonne relationship may have caught fans off-guard, but it's grown into one of the more interesting love stories on television. Carl and Enid have also developed quite the relationship over the last couple of episodes.

One relationship that fans have been asking for, but have yet to see, is an eventual romance between Carol and Daryl.

The characters showed signs of a brewing love in the second and third seasons, and audiences everywhere thought something would happen. However, as the years went one, the chances seemed to dwindle.

In Rock In The Road, Daryl was almost reunited with his friend, but wasn't told the location of her hideout. It seemed that he was a little upset by this, and fans were left wondering, "Is Daryl in love with Carol?"

It's a logical question to ask, as the characters seem to have a lot in common. They've both been hurt throughout their pasts, and both have had to overcome great obstacles to stay alive to this point.

If Daryl was in love with someone, it would definitely be Carol. She's the type of strong woman he would need by his side, and they both provide enough mystery to keep each other entertain.

The only hurdle here for Daryl would be Carol's need to stay alone. As the guy has become more of a team player over the years, he would need someone who is more family oriented. Carol doesn't exactly want to be part of the group right now, and that's problematic.
