The Walking Dead: Lucille Bat Confiscated By TSA

11/24/2016 11:58 am EST

If you're planning on traveling this holiday season, you'll have to check your beloved Lucille bat in a bag. Hard to believe, but the TSA is not exactly alright with allowing baseball bat wrapped in barbed wire aboard planes.

One fan of The Walking Dead tried to bring their Lucille bat replica aboard a flight at the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport but TSA agents shut that s--- down, with no exceptions.

TSA Regional Spokesperson Mark Howell took to Twitter to share an image of the bat and message regarding traveling with Lucille.

We all have seen what Lucille is capable of during that infamous Walking Dead Season 7 premiere, so no one should be calling the TSA unreasonable in this scenario. Baseball bats, with or without barbed wire wrapped around them, already qualify as items which are supposed to be flown only in checked bags. Other items which are not permitted as carry-ons: guns, knives, alcohol, ammunition, and hair gel over 3.2 ounces -- all of which apply to Negan. Sorry, Saviors.
