The Walking Dead: New Photos From The Cell

WARNING: Spoilers Ahead For The Latest Episode Of The Walking Dead.

This past week's episode of The Walking Dead was titled 'The Cell', and it focused on Negan's home base. He has turned an abandoned factory into a place called The Sanctuary, and this is where he houses an entire community.

In The Sanctuary live his soldiers, The Saviors, as well as his wives and subjects. Everyone who takes up residency in The Sanctuary must follow Negan's rules. As we learned in this episode, and from Dwight's enormous scar, there are consequences for disobeying Negan.

The majority of the episode focused on Dwight's inner conflict, and his attempts to break Daryl. If he can turn Daryl into a Savior, he will easily be Negan's most trusted soldier. After watching this episode, however, it's hard to think that Dwight still wants that.

He used dog food sandwiches, beatings, solitude, and Easy Street to try and break Daryl's spirit. Throughout the episode, we learned that Dwight may have been breaking much quicker than his prisoner, as the man began to question why he was following Negan in the first place.

AMC has released some new stills from the episode, and they give us a long look at some of the most pivotal moments from Sunday night. We get some shots of Dwight talking with Negan, Daryl being made to watch the walker-fence, and the epic showdown on the bridge. We also get a couple of behind-the-scenes photos that give a little more insight as to how the episode was made.
