Ross Marquand Recalls Filming Glenn And Abraham's Deaths

Fans weren't the only ones who had a tough time digesting the events of the season 7 premiere, as the deaths of two favorites took its toll on the cast as well.

That includes Aaron actor Ross Marquand, who took some time to talk to ComicBook.com's Brandon Davis about the exhausting process of filming those episodes.

"It was awful. I mean it was the same with the end of season 6:16 and 7:01. It was very tough to echo from before just like going back to that place over and over again day after day and night after night. It was mostly night shoots, a couple day shoots peppered in there, so you know you're freezing your butt off, you're scared for your friends, and you know just the idea of losing people that you really love."

Glenn and Abraham have been fan favorites for awhile now, but the loss extends past when the cameras are rolling.

"Not just on the show but outside of the show. These are friends of yours, not just characters that you work with, they're colleagues and friends. Since Steven and Michael's departure, it's been really tough. I mean we miss both of those guys immeasurably and they've been such an example for the show and the cast and the crew that it was very tough to go back to that place over and over again and we miss them like hell."

Fans can catch up with Steven Yeun and Michael Cudlitz along with Ross Marquand this weekend at Walker Stalker Con in Nashville, TN, while the season 8 trailer of The Walking Dead will premiere at San Diego Comic-Con this July.

Fear the Walking Dead returns for its third season on June 4 at 9 pm ET on AMC. The Walking Dead will return for its eighth season in October of 2017. The first trailer is expected to arrive at San Diego Comic-Con in July.
