The Walking Dead's Shane Walsh To Get NYCC Exclusive Funko Pop Figure

For the first time, Jon Bernthal's portrayal of Shane Walsh on The Walking Dead will be getting the Funko Pop treatment as an exclusive figure for 2016's New York Comic Con.

This figure isn't just any Shane Walsh. It's crazy Shane Walsh. This is post-headshave-already-killed-Otis Shane Walsh. This is the Shane Walsh that lead Rick Grimes out into the woods with the intention of killing him so he could have Rick's wife and son for his own to take on the apocalypse.

This is the Shane Walsh figure you want to take home from New York Comic Con!

Shane has never received the Funko Pop! figure treatment to date. It's actually kind of hard to believe, seeing as just about every other character on The Walking Dead has mutliple renditions in the vinyl format.

Other New York Comic Con exclusive figures include Golden Girls ReAction figures, Scott Pilgrim and Super Saiyan Trunks Pop! figures, a Freddy Funko Dorbz figure and several other popular characters from hit shows and movies.

"Our goal was to cover as many beloved licenses and characters
as possible to remind every Comic Con attendee why
they fell in love with these stories in the first place," says Funko in the announcement.

The exclusive figures will be available at the Funko booth at New York Comic Con.

New York Comic Con takes place at the Javitz Center in New York City from October 6-9, 2016.
